Clayton takes pride in raising and training all-around performance horses. Our horses are expected to perform, both in the arena and on the ranch. Besides our normal arena practice and cow work, we find it important for our horses to be ridden out on the ranch as well. Ranch work gives the horse a job, going beyond the repetitive maneuvers refined in the arena setting. This teaches the horse through real life, practical application, plus it adds color to the job description, which helps our horses stay mentally sound. Our clients appreciate that their horses are not just good in front of the judges, but that they’re also able to hold their own at a branding or while gathering and separating cattle. We believe that a sound mind and solid foundation of training ensures a lasting career - in and out of the show arena.
Along with training and competing, Clayton also conducts various types of horsemanship, roping and cow horse clinics all over the world. We welcome beginners and Non-Pro's of all levels!
